The original piece was drawn and shaded with size 01 and size 005 Micron pens, totaling about 4 hours. It features a Muntjac or Reeves deer skull.
Stippled art is shaded with thousands of tiny dots, one by one. This process can be time-consuming because it requires a lot of breaks - hand stretches are important! Stippling is sometimes referred to as dotwork or pointillism, though pointillism technically refers to blending different colored dots.
