The original piece was drawn and shaded with a size 01 Micron pen, totaling about 18 hours. It features a few different types of snail, conch, limpet, snapping turtle, and leaf turtle shells.
Available in 5 by 7 inches, or 8 by 10 inches. These are unframed prints, signed, dated, and numbered on the back. Produced by the artist, Alex Nelson.
Stippled art is shaded with thousands of tiny dots, one by one. This process can be time-consuming because it requires a lot of breaks - hand stretches are important! Stippling is sometimes referred to as dotwork or pointillism, though pointillism technically refers to blending different colored dots.
